Of all life goals this might just make the Top 1.
Crossing the most famous crosswalk in the world, straight through these famed doors, is a sacred pilgrimage to many a musician like me. I have listened to countless hours of music that was recorded, mixed, and mastered here at @abbeyroadstudios, not to mention the hours of movie scores.
Seeing the studios that birthed some of the greatest records and most fascinating inventions in music production was surreal, to say the least. But going there to actually work on music, rather than as a visitor, and even just eating in the cafeteria, will have this day vividly etched in my memory forever.
A big thanks to everyone there, especially Alex Wharton, who served as mastering engineer on ‘Passing Through’. @simonanomi tells me I did fine, but I’m sure I must have been blabbering and smiling like an idiot the whole session through.
