Passing Through is the debut single by Michael J. Keplinger (MJK). Although superficially an ordinary love song, it carries nuanced darkness in its lyrics and harmonies, crafting a mature narrative exploring love’s value amid human imperfections.
The song, written, performed & produced by Michael J. Keplinger, was mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios and released on May 31, 2024 through DIEgital Records, distributed by Sony Music Entertainment.
The Limited 7″ Vinyl was released on December 6, 2024.
Passing Through – The 16mm film
The music film’s shoot place on the set of the short film For A While. The joint premiere of both films took place in Eisenstadt, Austria. The music film was co-produced by Michael J. Keplinger and Niklas Strahammer and directed by Keplinger.
