Ember, the new single, will be released digitally on 26 June 2026 via DIEgital Records.
The track serves as the second single taken from The Words At Play, the upcoming EP by MJK (Michael J. Keplinger), and forms the emotional centerpiece of the five-track release.
Written, performed, produced and mixed entirely by MJK, Ember unfolds as a melancholic and atmospheric love song, combining layered instrumentation with introspective lyricism. The single was mastered by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios, London.
The release is accompanied by the third chapter of The Words At Play: Visual EP, the 16-minute short film composed of five interconnected music videos. Written and directed by MJK, the film continues its fragmented and dreamlike exploration of memory, emotional inertia and inner reflection.
Ember, and its accompanying chapter of The Words At Play: Visual EP will be released digitally everywhere on 26 June 2026.
